The Latest App Store Guidelines: What You Need to Know

Apple regularly makes updates to its App Store Guidelines for review of new app submissions. We've thoroughly analyzed the latest round of changes to identify what you need to know before submitting your new app for review.
1) State Clear Functionality
Apps that include any hidden, dormant, or undocumented features are in grounds to be blocked from the App Store.
2) Approval Needed for Cross-Platform Elements
Developers cannot include names, icons, or images of other mobile platforms/marketplaces unless there is approved functionality.
3) Login Service Must be Secure
Login services cannot collect interactions with the app for advertising purposes without consent.
4) Don't Compile User Data from Secondary Sources
Apps that collect personal information from any source that isn't the user and with their consent is not permitted.
5) Remain compliant with VPN & MDM
Apps that don't comply with existing guidelines around VPN and MDM use will be blocked from installing via alternative distribution.
